The tradition is to give 5 sugar coated almonds to each guest to say thank you for sharing your day with you. Each sugar almond represents health , wealth , happiness , fertility and long life.

These are the sugar coated almonds I use when I make my Bomboniere.

You can buy them in a few different ways depending on what you need.

The sugar coated almonds are made in Sydney Australia and are roughly 2.5cm in length each.

1kg of sugar coated almonds = 150 sugar coated almonds approximately.

The almonds last for 12 months and come in a snap lock pouch.

The clear acrylic boxes I stock I normally put 10 almonds inside each box. The traditional 5 almonds looks empty.

I use these are they are a generous size and look great when presented.
